Statement of Compliance

As a consequence of the latest change to the regulation concerning the processing of the Foundation of Economic Activities in the Madrid Town Hall, the Statement of Compliance is now the general procedure for opening, modifying, or carrying out any work on a new or existing business activity.

It is a document undersigned by an applicant in which they declare that they comply with the relevant regulations and that they have the documentation to accredit such a fact. In the same way, the applicant commits to continuing this compliance during the time that the activity is carried out. ECU SCI offers the possibility of carrying out a Voluntary Prior Report which guarantees the viability of the activity, offering a great help to the handling, processing, and presentation of the Statement of Compliance.

PLANNING PERMISSION

There are specific activities or carry out works which are subject to licensing and can not be processed by the procedure Responsible Declaration. Briefly they are:

  • Certain activities performing works requiring technical project of building works (art. 2.2 of the LOE).
  • Activities located in buildings Cataloging Protection Level I.
  • Activities subject to environmental control procedures.
  • Activities which require assistance to evacuate occupants autonomously in case of emergency.
  • Hotel establishments.
  • Nature provisional licenses.
  • Storage activities, product manufacturing and research with danger.
  • Storages with medium or high inherent risk.
  • Dotacionales no parking garages.
  • Radioactive installations.

In these cases the ECU SCI makes formal and technical review of all the documentation and the necessary visits for the Operating License and First Occupation.
