SCI performs inspections and follow-up of equipment and materials manufacturing; based on the purchase order, material requisition, vendor documentation, project specifications and requirements, and local and international regulations.
The equipment and materials inspected are mainly, but not exclusively, Pressure Equipment (Columns, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Process Furnaces, Filters, Vessels), valves, pipes and fittings required for the installation of piping in the plants, Compressors, Pumps, Metal Structure, Motors, Cold Boxes, Electrical Equipment and Instrumentation, among others.
The scope of the inspections of the inspected materials may vary depending on the point of the applicable Inspection Point Plan; from the start of production (traceability of materials), performance tests or final inspections; the following are the points of action that we essentially perform in the inspections:
Pre-Inspection Meeting.
Presence of welding approvals.
Visual and dimensional inspection.
Presence of hydraulic tests.
Final inspection.
Functional and FAT tests.
Surface coating inspection.
Documentary review.
Verification of loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
These points are complemented with a verification of the correct execution of the previous points of the Inspection Plan of each equipment.
Additionally, SCI provides activation services, verifying the status of the supply and analyzing the inconveniences that may cause a possible delay in the delivery date without impacting the quality of the final product.
