    Regulatory inspection of hydrogen facilities. Generation, transmission and distribution

    SCI, Control and Inspection Services, S.A.U. offers its clients all the regulatory inspections (initial and periodic) that hydrogen installations must undergo during their useful life. We are qualified to carry out inspections in the fields of Fuel Gases, Pressure Equipment, Low and High Voltage, Fire Protection Installations, Refrigeration Installations, p… e.g….

    Our Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Department is experienced in the inspection of all types of equipment and facilities, including specifically hydrogen service equipment. For this purpose, we have professionals and technical means that allow us to carry out tests using different techniques (e.g. ultrasound, radiography).

    • We have professionals with extensive experience in national legislation (Industrial Safety Regulations) and Community legislation (European Directives and Regulations) applicable to this type of installations.
    • SCI has professionals with training and experience in the field of welding of metallic materials, providing our customers with services in different regulatory frameworks (ASME Code, European Standards, e.g.) such as the qualification of welding procedures and welders.
    • SCI is currently actively participating in ensuring compliance with the safety requirements established in European legislation for a bioethanol hydrogen generator plant for use in submarines.

    HYDROGEN GENERATION, TRANSPORTATION AND DISTRIBUTION

    • Our company has the human and technical resources to provide solutions throughout the useful life of equipment and installations. SCI’s Regulatory Inspection and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) departments actively collaborate with different engineering, construction and maintenance departments in order to bring safety and efficiency to our customers’ assets.
    • SCI’s Regulatory Inspection Department regularly intervenes in hydrogen production plants, carrying out the mandatory regulatory controls established in different Industrial Safety Regulations ( Pressure Equipment Regulations , Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations, etc.). ej).
