TAP Trans Adriatic Pipeline
The pipeline, with an initial contracted capacity of 10 BCM (billion cubic meters) of natural gas, 871 km in length and 48″ and 36” in diameter, will be interconnected with the TANAP – Trans Anatolian Pipeline (further connected to SCPX – South Caucasus Pipeline) and it will run through Greece, Albania and Italy.
The first deliveries to Europe are planned for 2019.

The facility aims to transport natural gas from the Caspian Sea mainly to meet the requirements of the largest European gas markets.
The installation of the pipeline has been commissioned to the joint venture between SPIECAPAG Entrepose (welding supported by the Dutch firm A. HAK) and AKTOR (one of the largest construction Greek companies)
The Spanish company SCI (Servicio de Control e Inspección) is responsible to manage the Non Destructive Testing activities (NDT) on site.
