Inspection by Fluorescent Penetrant Testing is an inspection method within the NDT family executed with highly sensitive techniques that allow surface discontinuities such as cracks or porosity to be detected.

SCI has an inspection line using fluorescent penetrants that includes the initial cleaning process of the component through degreasing processes.

SCI inspectors are qualified as Level II and Level III according to different standards: EN ISO 9712; SNT-TC-1A; EN ISO 4179 (aeronautical sector).

SCI meets the requirements of EN, ASTM, ASME and AMS standards, among others, and also has the approval of the aeronautical engine manufacturer SAFRAN for the inspection of its components.
