    API 653 Certified Inspectors

    SCI has API 653 Certified Inspectors on staff for the inspection of storage tanks in service.

    The American API 653 standard provides the minimum requirements for the inspection, maintenance, modification and reconstruction of storage tanks once in service. API 653 inspectors verify the in-use condition of the tanks and ensure the quality of the inspection work.

    THE IMPORTANCE OF IN-SERVICE STORAGE TANK INSPECTION

    The contents of these tanks may contain services that, in the event of poor maintenance, improper use or as a result of time, may cause not only material risks, but also personal and environmental hazards.
