SCI SA inspects by means of automatic X-Ray crawler equipment the welds of the collector tube during the manufacturing and assembly of the solar field and in subsequent repairs and maintenance operations.
SCI SA inspects by non-destructive testing the components, piping and equipment that are part of the power system of the solar thermal plant.
For this purpose, it uses conventional (visual, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and conventional radiography) and advanced (digital radiography, Pa+Tofd recordable ultrasound, etc.) nondestructive testing.
In order to optimize the performance of the photovoltaic panels , SCI SA inspects with thermo-graphic equipment the possible temperature gradients that may indicate a failure in the solar panel.
SCI SA is an Authorized Control Body for Low and High Voltage Electrical Installations and performs regulatory inspections in electrical substations and transformer stations of photovoltaic plants throughout Spain as well as periodic low voltage inspections R.D.842/2002.
